they use a slightly different sound on the TF:Prime show. I'm sure they will use the same.

New artworks of IronHide in Transformers Prime were released.
As TFUniverse will take place in TF:Prime continuity, we can say that most transformers will look the same in game.
So, IronHide will probably look like this :

Assuming some experience I get into MMo's, There will be 4 kind of classes :
- Tank
- Damage Dealer
- Ranged Damage Dealer
- Heal

Of course, as the Brawler is a Tank, name of the other classes may be different...

ToeJam, that sounds like somebody farting into my headset lol. I think they'll probably ended up using more futuristic sounds.

Don't forget, if they go for the classic "choose a class" model, there'll probably be buffing/debuffing classes too. Or at least subclasses.

I skipped the video until I saw this. Thank you for the free lol.

In the interview I posted today (Laura West Interview), she stresses that it'll appeal to traditional MMO players and that it'll have traditional quests (I've updated the list on my first post accordingly). It's interesting to note that Jagex have never said that TFU will be something revolutionary. Usually game companies boast about how their game will change the MMO landscape and be revolutionary, etc. But in TFU's case, I think the vibe I'm getting is that TFU is supposed to be a very TRADITIONAL MMO. They'll be using tried and true game mechanics and the interface will also be probably similar to RuneScape's upcoming action-bar interface.

She also mentioned that there'll be an ability to "Level up in both PvP and PvE". Does that mean there'll be a separate stats for both PvP and PvE? Or does it simply mean you level up your common combat skills no matter you do PvP or PvE.

I really hope there aren't set classes that players are bound to. I prefer the classless system where you can decide on a class depending on how you equip yourself. If there ARE set classes then it makes sense why Jagex are not linking RuneScape character names to TFU. Besides, many good names are already taken by people in RuneScape, so it'll be annoying for TFU players to have weird names like Jason203823Bob because just JasonBob was taken, for example.

Don't think so. You know, as TFU will not be so "revolutionnary", I think that smashing players in PvP will grant exp as much as completing a quest...

  • Set on Earth with human elements, but robots will be the primary characters. Starts on Earth.

It will have other planets as well, including Cybertron.

  • Open or Closed Beta release dates, or whether there will be one.

You are right that we don't know when the beta will be released and if it will be open or closed; however, we can be certain that there definitely will be a beta. It has been mentioned in interviews about the game, unless they decided not to do one without telling us...

  • Minimum computer requirements.

If you can run RuneScape then you will be able to run Transformers Universe. After all, its engine is just a modified and slightly upgraded version of the RuneScape engine.

  • Payment model: if it'll be freemium like RuneScape or item-shop based.

It will be Free-to-Play at launch in the same way RuneScape was and will eventually feature a Pay-to-Play option. This has been stated in at least one interview that I have read.

One of the desired requirements for the Transformers Brand Director is 'Understanding of micro-transaction and subscription based business models.' So we can also be sure that Jagex will be implementing micro-transitions.

Good find, Ikdeslaapkop.

I guess we can expect the model to follow RuneScape's where it's a hybrid subscription based and item shop, hence them mentioning both: "Understanding of micro-transaction and subscription based business models"

Another job listing says, "Understanding of F2P/monetisation business models". http://www.jagex.com...s/jobs/oNLCWfwQ
